One of the most popular breakout candidates in the league certainly lived up to expectations last season, as C.J. McCollum emerged as a viable sidekick to Damian Lillard in 2015-16. McCollum, who had just three starts in his career coming into the season, started all 80 of his appearances for the Trail Blazers, and averaged 20.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, while making 41.7 percent of his 3-pointers at a high volume. McCollum gives the Blazers a nice secondary playmaker, and he provided Fantasy players with strong assists numbers from a non-point guard. There is no reason to think he won’t be able to keep it up this season, which makes McCollum worth targeting as early as the third round on Draft Day.
