George Hill has a pretty well established reputation as a solid, dependable game-manager type point guard, but he shed that a bit two years ago, as he stepped up in Paul George’s absence for the Pacers. He couldn’t build on that breakout for Fantasy players last season, however, as his production fell back to 12.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, numbers that made him a borderline Fantasy option at best. He should be able to improve on that following an offseason trade to the Jazz, but he still won’t be the team’s primary playmaker, with Rodney Hood and Gordon Hayward more than capable of taking on some of those duties next to him. Hill should be a fine starting Fantasy option, albeit one without much upside, so look to him in the later rounds on Draft Day.
