Cameron Heyward suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ 27-14 win over the New Orleans Saints in their third preseason game on Friday evening. That’s an injury that typically knocks a player out of action for at least a few weeks, but Heyward is insisting that he’ll be ready for the Steelers‘ season opener against the Redskins on Sept. 11.

How is he going to get himself ready to go in just over two weeks?

That’s Wolverine, by the way. If Heyward really heals like Logan, he’ll probably be ready for the regular season by tomorrow. If he heals like a normal human, it’s pretty much up in the air whether or not he’ll actually be ready to go by Week 1.

The Steelers will be without several important players early in the year, as both Le’Veon Bell (three gamnes) and Martavis Bryant (full season) will be serving suspensions.
