Cabrera was visited by the trainers earlier in the inning when he seemed to injure his arm after colliding with Phillies first baseman Tommy Joseph after beating out a bunt single.

Cabrera was placed on the 15-day disabled list Aug. 2 with a strained patella tendon in his left knee. The shortstop returned to the Mets on Aug. 19 and has hit .438 (14-for-32) with four doubles, three home runs and nine RBIs since being activated.
