The Mets seem to be in the process of turning their season around. They’ve gone 8-2 over their last 10 games, and on Tuesday pulled ahead of the Marlins for second in the National League East.

That’s a good thing, because it changes the tone about every little act and event happening around the team. Take a tweet like this from Noah Syndergaard:

The Mets are winning, so it’s funny, if odd. Were the Mets losing? Woo boy, you’d have all kinds of debates about whether Syndergaard were taking things seriously — and why is he getting after the fans, anyway?

Thankfully, we can take this as the joke it was intended to be. And hey, even if the Mets were losing, it makes sense for a feller named Noah to hate waves, right?
