No one in the Class of 2017 has been a faster riser this year than Collin Sexton. He’s now a five-star player who’s considered the second-best point guard in his class, only behind the tremendous talent that is Trevon Duval.
Sexton took a recent trip to the Bahamas for an all-expenses-paid Nike trip. It’s a new thing Nike is doing to combat Under Armour’s annual Elite 24 event every August. The Sexton shot above was clearly a highlight. You’ve seen trick shots of that variety in recent months/years, but still … how many takes did it take to get this? I look at something like this and can’t help but think I could try it 50 times and not make one shot.
Sexton, now considered a top-10 player per the 247Sports Class of 2017 Composite Rankings, is forecast to choose Alabama. But for the record, his final 10 schools are Bama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State and Villanova.
