Western Kentucky defensive lineman Trae Jones was shot early Friday morning outside of a Bowling Green area nightclub following the Hilltoppers 46-14 win over Rice.

Jones was hit by a stray bullet around 2 a.m. outside Chocolate City nightclub, according to WBKO News. Western Kentucky released a statement on Friday, stating that Jones was not injured severely and has not had any charges brought against him.
