A groin injury derailed Nikola Vucevic in the second half, and probably proved pretty costly for his Fantasy owners, as the big man missed 13 games in March with the injury. That Vucevic has turned into the kind of player Fantasy owners can’t afford to lose is a testament to his development, as the he put together another solid season when he as on the floor in 2015-16, averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in his 65 appearances. He should be in line for more of the same coming into this season, though the addition of Bismack Biyombo as the Magic‘s big offseason signing complicates his role, and makes him a potential trade candidate as well. Vucevic may take a small step back, but he still has plenty of value to spare, and should be targeted as a sure-fire starting center in the first five rounds on Draft Day.
