Ole Miss cornerback Kendarius Webster was carted off during the Rebels first defensive possession of the game on Monday night after landing poorly on his left leg and suffering a injury.
Webster was challenging for a long Florida State pass and his left knee appeared to bend backwards on the landing and he went down immediately.
Webster was regarded as Ole Miss’ top cornerback and is a key piece of a secondary that lost top safeties in Mike Hilton and Trae Elston from last year’s roster. Webster had 41 tackles, 11 pass breakups, one interception and three tackles for loss in 2015 for the Rebels.
We will update this post when more information is available.
