LSU finally seems to have found some playmaking ability, particularly in the absence of Leonard Fournette. A change of quarterback — Brandon Harris was demoted and Purdue transfer Danny Etling was promoted — has given the Tigers new life on that side of the ball.

That’s great and all for LSU, but the most exciting play of the night still belongs to cornerback Tre’Davious White, who notched a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown right before the half.

If that’s 60 yards, I’m the king of England. White went back — way back — and looked for certain like he was going to be tackled. Instead, he broke the game open, perhaps once and for all.
