Multiple Dolphins players, including running back Arian Foster, knelt before the national anthem against Seattle on Sunday afternoon.

Foster, Michael Thomas, Jelani Jenkins and Kenny Stills were shown taking a knee during the national anthem amid a bunch of teammates who stood.

Bob Holtzman of ESPN reported earlier on Sunday the team met and decided to make their own individual statement about the anthem:

Dolphins RB Arian Foster just told me he plans to take a knee and raise his fist during the national anthem today in Seattle. He said some of his teammates will join him. Foster said Dolphins players met on Friday and agreed to make their own decision on how to handle today’s anthem.

The Dolphins also issued a statement on the players’ decision.
