Week 2 Rankings: Standard | PPR

It took one week for injuries to shake up the wide receiver landscape. Already, Fantasy owners are on the lookout for a bargain at the position.

The smart thing to do is find a receiver who was touted as a reliable Fantasy option in August but struggled in Week 1. Maybe the owner already has cold feet — or depth behind him.

The receivers you can try and nab: Jarvis Landry , Randall Cobb , Michael Floyd and Marvin Jones .

Nothing’s changed except they didn’t score or get a ton of yards in their first game. Targets? They got ’em. Receptions? They got those too. Receivers don’t go off every week — last week these four guys didn’t. Doesn’t mean they won’t.

Take advantage of the hasty, overreacting owner. Here are some trades being mulled involving these receivers:

Jarvis Landry WR / Miami Dolphins (Week 1 stats)

TAR: 10REC: 7YDS: 59TD: 0

Landry and Melvin Gordon for DeAndre Hopkins : It’s a strong offer for Hopkins, but not quite enough. We might have just seen Gordon’s best game of the season.

Landry for Gary Barnidge : Look, I like Barnidge and think he’ll come around, but this is flat-out giving up on Landry! If I lost Keenan Allen I would do this trade and gladly stream tight ends.

Landry and T.J. Yeldon for Dez Bryant : This is another giveaway — this time Dez. Why trade Dez for these two?! Landry and Gordon is at least closer.

Randall Cobb WR / Green Bay Packers (Week 1 stats)

TAR: 8REC: 6YDS: 57TD: 0

Cobb for Spencer Ware : Ware’s Fantasy value is sky-high after his big Week 1, but it came against San Diego. And Jamaal Charles is coming back soon. Getting Cobb for Ware is a great swap.

Cobb for DeMarco Murray : I get trying to sell high on Murray after he caught multiple touchdowns in Week 1. This isn’t enough. It’s not like Murray won’t score again this season!

Michael Floyd WR / Arizona Cardinals (Week 1 stats)

TAR: 7REC: 3YDS: 61TD: 0

Floyd for DeMarco Murray: Another example of someone dumping Murray thinking this is as good of a receiver as you can get. It’s not.

Floyd and Willie Snead for T.Y. Hilton : This one is real close. Hilton had a tricky Week 1 but the Indianapolis Colts made it plain as day they’re going to throw a ton. Hilton should have a big year and the best is yet to come. We’ve seen Snead’s best game.

Marvin Jones WR / Detroit Lions (Week 1 stats)

TAR: 10REC: 4YDS: 85TD: 0

Jones for Eli Rogers and James White : This is a giveaway. Jones has stud potential in Detroit’s passing offense — White is a rental running back and Rogers caught a touchdown off a ricochet at Washington.

Jones and Eli Manning for Brandon Marshall : If the Fantasy owner who lost Allen and didn’t like Blake Bortles dangled Marshall for this duo then it makes sense. And, it’s not unfair.

What are the Trade Values? The chart is designed to help guide you in making fair trades in your standard-scoring or PPR leagues. The values assigned to the players below are a long-term measurement of their Fantasy value. By adding two players’ values you could determine what one player you should be able to get in return. This list also works as a “Rest of Season” rankings. Also, any player not on the chart should be considered valued at no more than four points.
