Barcelona superstar Neymar, who was linked with a potential move to PSG or Manchester United in the summer, met with the French club, according to ESPN Brasil.

The report cites one of Neymar’s agents, Wagner Ribeiro, who said Neymar met with the French club twice over the summer before agreeing to a contract extension with Barcelona. But that wasn’t without a wild offer from PSG.

“I told Neymar that the offer was out of this world,” the agent said.

The offer was to become the highest-paid player in the world, Ribeiro said, adding that PSG offered to pay the $213 million release clause and to pay Neymar over $40 million a year. The agent said Neymar was also offered a private jet to travel to Brazil games and a share in a new chain of hotels that would have his name.

In the end, Neymar stayed at Barcelona, but what an offer. If they revisit this, what are they going to have to offer him in addition to that to secure a move? Singng lessons?
