Still basking in the glow of his recent Hall of Fame induction, Allen Iverson paid a visit to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday to talk about his career with the more-than-amicable host.

Iverson made quite the impression when he was introduced. Coming out by dribbling a basketball, Iverson then proceeded to “cross over” Colbert:

Colbert though, had the last laugh. Challenging Iverson to a “Paper Ball Shootout,” Colbert shut out the former Philadelphia 76ers superstar, 6-0:

Iverson did seem to take the loss in stride and laughed it up with Colbert afterwards. However, according to comedian Gregg Gethard, who was at the taping of the show because his brother Chris was also a guest, Iverson walked backstage and told his family, “Man, I let him win.”

Never change Allen, never change.
