The Vikings offense might have just lost its biggest weapon.

Adrian Peterson went down with a leg injury during the third quarter of Minnesota’s game against Green Bay. On first-and-10 from the Green Bay 37-yard line, Peterson took a handoff and went for a five-yard gain. After he was tackled, he tried to get up, but wasn’t able to put any weight on his right leg.

The injury appears to be to Peterson’s right ankle area.
