Sam Bradford isn’t just outplaying Aaron Rodgers on Sunday Night Football — he looks like he somehow zapped all of the talent out of Rodgers and stole it for himself.

In his first ever start with the Vikings, who gave up a first-rounder and a conditional fourth-rounder to land Bradford in the aftermath of Teddy Bridgewater‘s injury, Bradford is the reason why his team held a 10-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. His second-quarter touchdown to Kyle Rudolph featured a perfectly placed rocket near the corner of the end zone.

His second touchdown one-upped his first. In the third quarter, Bradford launched a bomb — as he got hit — to Stefon Diggs for a 25-yard touchdown. Like his first touchdown, the ball was placed in a spot where only his receiver could come down with it.

It didn’t take long for Bradford and Diggs to develop some chemistry. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Bradford completed all of his first eight passes to Diggs for 167 yards, six first downs and one touchdown.
