Kelvin Benjamin missed the entire 2015 season with a torn ACL, and it sure seems like Cam Newton is happy to have his top wide receiver back on the field. Cam has peppered Benjamin with targets through the first two weeks of the season, and Benjamin has repeatedly turned those targets into touchdowns.
After going for six catches, 91 yards, and a score in Week 1, Benjamin is at it again for the Panthers. Take a look at Benjamin snagging two touchdown tosses in a four-minute span midway through the third quarter:
Benjamin flashes different skills here on each play, with the common denominator being his incredible size helping him make the catch. He gets to show off his ridiculous catch radius in the first video, reaching down near the ground to haul in a pass that Cam placed where only Benjamin could snare it. On the second play, he uses his body to shield the defender away from the football, then bounces off a tackle and fights his way into the end zone.
Good to see Benjamin back on the field and making plays.
