Mets outfielder/QB of our hearts Tim Tebow was on hand Monday for the first practice of the fall instructional league at the team’s facilities in Port St. Lucie, Fla. We’ve already sampled the ballyhoo surrounding his arrival at instructs, and now let’s take a look at Tebow doing actual baseball things. Come with us, won’t you?

First, some personalized implements …

And here he is standing next to Mr. Cespedes. Ricardo Cespedes …

Here’s sports-action footage of our hero walking into and then out of a dugout …

Here he is standing with a baseball bat, possibly one with his name on it …

As for the actual baseball-playing, well …

Oh. Forthcoming: More action …

Safe! Here’s Teebs’ catching a fly ball and following up with a dubiously sequenced crow-hop …

More fielding …

And of course some hacks in the cage …

Another angle on his cage-work …

Also, the rarely glimpsed post-instructional league workout press conference …

And finally …

More to come, people. More to come.
