In three starts against the Mets in 2016, Phillies righty Vince Velasquez’s main weakness was on full display. He pitched well in all three with a 1.76 ERA, 20 strikeouts and four walks, but lasted just 15 1/3 innings. Opposing Velasquez in Wednesday’s series finale is Zack Wheeler, a 26-year-old righty coming off two missed seasons due to elbow injuries.
