Wednesday, March 16

After careful consideration and feedback from our loyal listeners 105.5 The Team is thrilled to announce a new partnership in 2016. Starting this April we’ll be Rochester’s radio home for last year’s World Series runner up, the New York Mets.

Throughout the entirety of the 2016 season turn your radio dial to 105.5 FM and catch all 162 Mets’ regular season games as well as any potential playoff contests that could take place come October. (Please note: the games can only be heard over the airwaves and will not be available via our webstream at http://theteam.fm because of MLB restrictions.)

After a historic season, which saw the Mets win the National League East division and get back to the fall classic for first time in 15 years, there’s no better time to bring Mets baseball to Rochester.

Led by a talented pitching staff featuring names such as veteran Matt Harvey, youngsters Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard, and the big bat of Yoenis Cespedes the New York is poised for another World Series run, and The Team is exciting to help you follow their journey.

This is a great opportunity to bring a storied and well-supported franchise to Western New York radio for year’s to come. The Team is thrilled about this new partnership and we hope you’ll be tuning in this season. The Mets open the season in Kansas City for a rematch of last year’s World Series on April 3, at 8:37 p.m. You know where to catch the action! Go Mets!
